Why am I unable to start a screen recording on my Mac?

Follow

With the release of macOS Catalina, Apple has added a new privacy setting that requires you to specify which apps are able to be recorded with video. As a result, you may notice that when you try to start a screen recording with Ensemble Anthem or the Chrome Recorder Extension, the screen capture do not record the screen because the Operating System prevents Ensemble Anthem or the Chrome Recorder Extension from from recording the video.
